Serve

Our congregation can be found serving in a number of ways in Atlantic and beyond.

Locally, we can be found helping at the Parks and Rec Art in the Park during the summer for kids, ringing the Salvation Army bell at Christmas, serving at the food pantry, making quilts for children and babies, working with our Haiti mission partners (United Christian International), and more.

We invite you to join us as we seek to serve God and our community.

Quilt Ministry

We have a dedicated group of people who make hundreds of baby and children quilts each year. These quilts are given out in a number of ways: members having a new baby or grandbaby, the police department, West Central Action, Project Linus in Council Bluffs, the local hospital, and more.

Quilts are dedicated and prayed over in worship about once a year before they are handed out. We hope that the families and children who receive the quilts feel the love God has for them each time they use the quilt.

Haiti Mission

For a number of years now we have partnered with United Christian International as our missionary partners in Haiti. This is a partnership we work hard to maintain year-round.

Over the years, we have sent 9 mission teams to Haiti to work and learn about their work there. In addition, we help send Christmas gifts for children in their school, provide scholarships for students in their university, and help financially after natural disasters, as we can. It is our joy and honor to partner with the great work they do in Haiti.
